SO DYK compiles information from published sources — including the National Institutes of Health (NIH), MedlinePlus, Memorial Sloan Kettering, and traditional materia medica. We present that information as a reference. We do not recommend, prescribe, or endorse any herb, vitamin, or supplement for any individual or condition.

Your responsibility

Nothing on sodyk.com constitutes medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before starting, stopping, or changing any supplement, herb, or treatment — especially if you are pregnant, nursing, taking medications, or managing a medical condition. You use this information at your own discretion.

Accuracy

We make reasonable efforts to keep information accurate and source-cited. However, research evolves, and no reference is perfect. If you spot an error or have a source to add, email us at hi@sodyk.com.

Your data

We do not sell, share, or monetize your information. If you subscribe to our newsletter, your email is used only to send that newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

The SO DYK name, brand, and original written content are the property of Karlon Cromwell. Botanical illustrations sourced from Wikimedia Commons are in the public domain. Research citations are attributed to their respective authors and journals.

Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New York County, New York.

Founding membership

Founding membership is $60 USD per year, billed annually through Stripe and renewed automatically until cancelled. Any applicable taxes are shown at checkout. The founding rate remains $60/year while your subscription continues without interruption; a cancelled or expired subscription may not be eligible for that rate when restarted.

Membership provides access to the published member collections during the paid period. The public reference, individual herb cards, free account bookmarks, and Sunday Letter remain free. Future collections are included as published; there is no guaranteed monthly publication schedule.

Cancel future renewal through the billing link in your account. Access continues until the end of the paid period. Cancellation does not automatically refund the current annual payment. For refund requests, billing errors, or help cancelling, email hi@sodyk.com. This does not limit any rights you have under applicable law.

You may save and print member worksheets for personal educational use. Do not redistribute the paid collections as a product or shared membership library.
